Great news! Broadcom has established the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) licensing program, which provides vExperts who pass either the VCP-VCF Admin or Architect exam with free access to use VCF 5.x and 9.x licenses in their home lab!

- Yearly Certification Refresher Exam (<20 questions)

What it Requires:
- Valid VCP-VVF Admin/Architect Certification
- Yearly Renewal (or <20 question Refresher Exam if VMUG Advantage)

- 1 Year License Access (or 3 Year Access with VMUG Advantage) for Personal,
- Non-Production Use in your home lab environment
- 9.X Download Token
- 8.X License Key

How to Gain Access to the License?
Login into your Broadcom Support Portal account –
Once you’re logged in, go to the ‘Alpine’ section of the Broadcom Support Portal. Note that there isn’t a direct link on the main portal, so it’s quicker to log in first and then access the Broadcom Alpine License page through Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication.
If you’ve completed the prerequisites outlined above, this is what you should see: access to the VCF licenses through the Broadcom Alpine License portal.
The VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x Licenses can be found here which will redirect you to the VCF Business Console.
To obtain a token for downloading VCF binaries, look for the blue ‘Generate Token’ button on the main page, which displays your VCF and VVF production licenses along with any relevant certifications.
Your Token will be ready for downloading VCF binaries!
