Day 3: vExperts & The Party
The final day of VMware Explore 2025 was spent finishing up a few sessions and getting ready for the party. With the week drawing to a close, VMware Explore 2025 was a success, filled with fun and quality time with friends. It’s been an exciting time, and I made sure to connect with everyone. After walking 64,231 steps – totaling 30 miles – throughout the week.
I spent some time at the Hands-on Labs at The Hub and was able to relax after walking an incredible amount of steps throughout the week. It was great to see Eric Nielsen’s {code} session on building VMware Cloud Foundation 9 on a Minisforum desktop PC. This mini PC can handle up to 128GB of memory, and NVMe memory tiering can be configured by adding another M.2 NVMe disk and configuring each host with 100% matched memory tiering to physical DRAM.

The Party
The party was a great opportunity to collaborate, enjoy food and games, and listen to live music from The Honey Buckets or DJ Skemaddox, who was live mixing music. It was a fun-filled time!

DJ Skemaddox

Now that VMware Explore 2025 has wrapped up for the year, it was a fun-filled event and a great time attending sessions—and even the “Hallway Track,” where everyone stays and networks in The Venetian Expo hallways, discussing data centers, cloud, servers, AI, and more. The Hallway Track is arguably the most popular “session” of all. After long days and hours, it was great to celebrate at The Party with DJ Skemaddox and the Blue Grass Band – The Honey Buckets. Until next year, VMware Explore 2026!
